Cooking outdoors is part and parcel of a camping trip. However, with a car full of stuff, there probably isn’t room to bring the ingredients for breakfast or tea, and, after a long drive, the last thing you want to do is to go food shopping. That’s where our food packs come in. All the food is sourced locally, from Ellesmere - the meat packs from B Hawkins & Sons Family Butchers, and the breakfast packs from Vermeulens Bakery & Deli. Hawkins have been in business since 1873, whilst Vermeulens first opened their doors in 1968 - so both of them know a thing or two about great-tasting food.

To keep down costs and keep things nice and simple, you can’t change, or swap around, any of the packs’ items, but - with a choice of three packs for your evening meal - there should be something for all meat eaters. Just order and pay by the Tuesday prior to your stay, and the food pack will be waiting in your fridge for your arrival (don’t forget, all of our glamping units have a fridge). We can supply disposable barbecues, or you're welcome to bring your own, but, either way, please keep them to the gravelled areas.
